describe their routine of a normal day / how do they feel when this routine is disrupted? / to be frank, kaeden doesn’t have as much of a routine as rules that he wordlessly set up with casey in order to make survival more plausible. if one is asleep, the other stays awake in order to keep close watch on every single movement and / or sound ; if their hunger gets the best of them & their ( well, pitiful ) savings don’t seem to suffice, they both abandon everything in order to scavenge for something edible ; if the cold gets too unbearable, they sit closer & closer, do more things together or just talk ; etc, etc, etc. what kaeden does is circumstantial; there isn’t much room for a stable routine, after all. however, there are certain activities that are recurring in his daily life that i can point out, such as him spending his time doodling in his journals or carving in wood with his shabby knife ( i will elaborate on that in a separate post fgjdjfdf ) so like ?? idk. point is that while he can’t hold up any sort of daily schedule that wouldn’t get disrupted sooner than later, but still, he doesn’t have many choices as to what to do, so usually he either occupies his hands with something that doesn’t require money or many supplies or just … daydreams. for hours. i gotta meta on this one too.
what one thing would your muse change about themselves? / i want to say most things, but if he had to choose one, he would unstring his flesh and bones and turn himself into a human again. normal, orderly human. no abilities. nothing particularly strange to speak of. he wants to be able to live like humans do : to exist in the crowd and now feel afraid. to stop running. he knows that this possibility was stolen from him in its entirety : there is no way for him ( nor casey, nor any other child who fell victim to this hell ) to go back. and so, it remains merely a smouldering desire; a subject of daydreams.
what would they want to be remembered for? / helping people. being a savior, in a way; a rescuer to somebody else. just — someone who’s remembered as a good person, a bright sunbeam. as a child, he was degraded into nothing, into an object, and, honestly — his most distinct desire is to become something more. ( make them remember. )
